OUR FACULTY AND STAFF
Amy Boccio
Head Teacher, 2s Transition
Amy Boccio graduated from Hunter College with a degree in Elementary Education. She received her Master's degree from St. John's University in teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. Amy taught in a 2nd grade general education classroom and a 1st grade ICT classroom at P.S. 41 in Manhattan for 11 years. After taking a few years to raise her young children, Amy is excited to be back as a volunteer teacher in the St. Mark's community.

When Amy began touring nursery schools for her son Benjamin, she knew instantly that St. Mark's was the right place for her family. Her son Benjamin is a St. Mark's alumni and her daughter Chloe is a current student. She is deeply connected to the school community both as an educator and as a board member. When Amy is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her family, trying new restaurants, exercising, reading, and going to the beach.
