Karen Ciancimino

Karen Ciancimino is a mom of 3 boys (James 11, Luke 9, and Matthew 7) who all had a wonderful experience at Saint Mark’s!  She has an undergraduate degree in Psychology with a concentration in Childhood Education from Saint Joseph’s University Long Island and a Master’s Degree in Severe and Multiple Disabilities from Columbia University’s Teacher’s College.  In addition, she holds New York State Certifications from birth through grade 6 in both general and special education.  Before staying home with her boys for 9 years, she taught in North Bellmore UFSD as an inclusion teacher in 3rd and 4th grade and completing her time there with 2 years in kindergarten.  Karen believes Saint Mark’s is a special place for children and their families.  As a parent and now educator at the school, Karen loves experiencing St. Mark’s through the perspective of the loving, caring group of teachers and staff!
